Turn Google Analytics and Search Console into a marketing plan

Google Analytics and Search Console can help answer three business questions: how people find your website, what they do when they arrive, and which next action deserves attention. A reliable plan starts by checking what those accounts actually measure.

Check the property and period

Select the GA4 property and Search Console property that cover your website. Use the same reporting window where possible and state any delay in available search data. A property that measures several hostnames may need a domain filter.

Check what counts as a result

Look for completed signup, activation or purchase events that match your business. Page views and scrolling describe activity; they do not establish that someone became a paying customer.

If the required event is missing, make tracking validation the first action. A zero in a report can mean no recorded conversions, not no sales. Verify a test journey separately and avoid counting that test as a real customer.

Read search and website data together

Use Search Console to find the pages and queries receiving impressions and clicks. Then use GA4 to examine measured landing-page activity and outcomes. A page with impressions but few clicks may need clearer relevance, but first consider its position and the size of the sample.

Do not add daily user counts together to estimate distinct monthly users. Do not treat Google clicks and Analytics sessions as identical measures.

Write a short action plan

For each action record the evidence, proposed change, owner and verification method. Start with measurement gaps, then prioritize useful buyer pages and technical obstacles. Keep targets separate from forecasts: a target is what you aim for, not what the data guarantees.

Review before changing the website

SharksAPI can give your AI assistant access to the connected sources and put its audit and plan on your dashboard. You approve the plan there. Content or website changes still need the appropriate permissions and supported editing workflow.
